Our collection exhibition Utopia Now has been closed on 12 April and a new exhibition is currently being built in its place. From the beginning of June, the first floor will be taken over by Aalto Design – Forms of Wellbeing, an exhibition that explores the thinking on wellbeing of some of the most renowned figures in Finnish architecture and design: Aino, Alvar and Elissa Aalto.
The application period for the Fill This Space -summer schools is open until 4 May. The summer schools are intended for all 16–20 year-olds who are interested in architecture, design, and planning. Participation in the summer school is always free of charge. Each summer school lasts five weekdays.
The audio guide offers visitors the opportunity to delve into the themes of the Escape to Moominvalley exhibition. The audio guide invites listeners to reflect on the significance of Tove Jansson’s art and life in our present time; on an individual, collective, and societal level. The audio guide can be bought together with the museum ticket.
