The museum and its collections are owned by the Foundation for Finnish Museum of Architecture and Design. Real Estate Company ADM is a property company owned by the Finnish State and the City of Helsinki. It is responsible for the development and construction of the museum’s new building.

AD Museum Ltd
AD Museum Ltd operates the Architecture & Design Museum at the museum building on Korkeavuorenkatu and at the Collections Centre in Vantaa. The museum is the national special museum for its field. In addition to exhibitions, events, and projects, the museum plays an important role in architecture and design education, publishing research-based knowledge, and providing access to materials related to architecture and design.
Foundation for the Finnish Museum of Architecture and Design
Foundation for the Finnish Museum of Architecture and Design owns AD-museo Oy, which operates the museum, and manages a significant national collection of architecture and design. The foundation supports the museum’s activities, promotes the visibility of architecture and design, and is responsible for establishing the new museum in Helsinki’s South Harbour. The foundation also owns the museum’s internationally unique collections.
Real Estate Company ADM
Alongside the Finnish Architecture and Design Museum Foundation, Kiinteistö Oy ADM—owned by the City of Helsinki and the Government of Finland—advances the architectural and design museum building project and is responsible for the construction of the new museum building.
