Exhibition Introductions to Escape to Moominvalley

Welcome to dive deeper into the world of the Escape to Moominvalley exhibition! We offer exhibition introductions to our main exhibition weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays starting in January. Please check the event calendar for dates and times.

An exhibition introduction is a 30-minute guided session where you can sit back and listen to the guide’s introduction to the exhibition’s key themes and stories. The visual presentation and the guide’s expertise offer fresh perspectives and practical tips to help you get the most out of your visit at your own pace.
We recommend arriving about 15 minutes early: before the introduction begins, you can take part in the playful Escapism Poetry Game, where you can create your own poems and send them to be displayed on a screen for everyone to admire. You will need a smartphone capable of reading a QR code to participate.

Participation

You can join the exhibition introduction with a museum admission ticket; no advance booking is required. Please register for the introduction at the museum’s customer service desk upon arrival. Places are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of 60 participants. No advance reservations are accepted for open exhibition introductions.

Please note that open exhibition introductions may not be filmed or recorded.

Schedule: Tuesdays in Finnish at 6 pm and in English at 7 pm; Saturdays in Finnish at 1 pm and in different language versions at 2 pm

Groups

The exhibition introduction can only be booked as a private service for educational groups. Other groups are kindly asked to book a traditional guided tour of the exhibition instead. No advance bookings are accepted for open exhibition introductions.
