Helsinki Design Week 2026
During Helsinki Design Week, the Architecture & Design Museum Helsinki will open a new event and meeting space at Eteläranta 6, just a stone’s throw from the museum’s current location on Korkeavuorenkatu.
Eteläranta 6 will serve as one of Helsinki Design Week’s official meeting points and offer a window into the future Architecture & Design Museum. The space will host events open to the public, where visitors can explore the plans for the new museum, follow the progress of the project and discover architect Juhani Pallasmaa’s reference library. Eteläranta 6 will also be available for companies and groups to book for meetings, events and celebrations. Read more about Eteläranta 6.
From 28 August to 6 September 2026, the Architecture & Design Museum Helsinki’s HDW programme also invites visitors to explore Helsinki’s architecture on guided architecture walks, delve into the design worlds of the Aaltos and the Moomins through guided tours, and come together around creativity at CreativeMornings and the Drawing Salon.
Events will take place at the museum at Korkeavuorenkatu 23, at the Eteläranta 6 event space and at locations around the city. Explore the full festival programme below and join us!
