Kaarina Gould, CEO of the Foundation for the Finnish Museum of Architecture and Design, has been awarded the Order of the White Rose of Finland, First Class Knight. This prestigious honor, presented on Finland’s Independence Day, is granted by the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb.
“We warmly congratulate Kaarina Gould on this well-deserved recognition. Gould has had a long and diverse career as a champion of Finnish culture. Over the past four years, she has successfully spearheaded efforts to establish a new architecture and design museum in Helsinki, earning public acknowledgment for her dedication,” stated Timo Laitinen, Chair of the Board of Foundation for the Finnish Museum of Architecture and Design.
