The Woven Color Collage workshop
Join us in weaving your own color collage under the guidance of a professional – alone or with a friend!
In the Woven Color Collage workshop, you will learn how to create textile weaves using beautifully colored yarns. You can design your own pattern and bring it to life, inspired by the colorful and innovative works of Maija Lavonen. The workshop begins with a brief introduction to the exhibition highlights, followed by a hands-on weaving session in the workshop space.
The workshops are led by textile professionals Mari Kosunen and Anu Salonen.
The price includes yarns, materials, guidance, and museum admission. You will also receive instructions and a small weaving frame to continue your weaving at home.
Workshop details and participation
The workshop is suitable for all skill levels. A spot in the workshop is secured by registering through our event platform. Tickets are purchased in advance through our online store, and registration is binding. You can book a ticket for yourself, as a gift, or attend with a friend.
